Discipleship Network of America, Midwest
Joe and Susie Nordstrom serve as local field staff with Discipleship Network of America, Midwest. Discipleship Network of America (DNA) is a national network of disciplemaking couples and individuals serving in communities across the country. DNA, Midwest is our independent 501(c)3 chapter of this national network. It provides us with encouragement, oversight, and accountability that allows us to be set apart for fruitful ministry. DNA, Midwest is governed by a local board that oversees the long-term health and effectiveness of the DNA, Midwest ministries and it’s staff. Each independent DNA chapter manages it’s own administrative needs, so DNA charges no administrative percentage or membership fees. This allows 100% of support funds to go directly to the local staff and ministries. The nation DNA network provides fellowship and prayer for the staff via monthly conference calls. They also host an annual conference, (free of any charge but transportation) providing all of the men and their wives with face-to-face friendship, fellowship, training in best practices, camaraderie, and encouragement for the ministries they’ve each been called to. Susie and Joe are very thankful that the Lord has provided them with the DNA network. They said, “DNA is a marvelous national disciplemaking team to belong to. It’s been the perfect place for us to follow our calling in just the right environment of encouragement and accountability.”
